1. Crypticomp Volume One. This is a compilation i put together recently to showcase some of the more bizarre and truly awesome artists/bands from my hometown of Jamestown NY, in conjunction with a Buffalo label called Full Rabbit Records (which i am now a part of, thanks to this particular comp.) I worked very hard on putting this together and it's quite the eclectic mix of metal, punk, noise, hip-hop, industrial, and plenty of other wittily titled genres and sub-genres of music. check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/crypticomp copies are going fast, so get ahold of me if you would like one.
2. Holy Roar Records. This is a UK indie label i have been following and kind of taking notes on for a while now. They keep it simple, Only a couple people running the show, A very diverse roster, and each release is special. From vinyl-effect cd-rs to super limited cassette compilations and colorful vinyl releases, you can tell this label cares about their artists while keeping every release they put out unique and original. Now of course, none of this would matter if the music on the label was no good, or even mediocre, so i present to you a FREE label sampler they put out a few months back. enjoy! http://www.holyroarrecords.com/uploads/holyroarspring09.zip
3. Other Music Blogs. i don't feel comfortable posting links to pages that contain illegal music downloads, but it's been really easy finding the music i want lately. Thank god for Google blog search.
That's all i got for now, i will be checking in frequently with all kinds of useless crap.
